David (Lam Kin Fai) is the son of a company manager, and he’s sitting in a bar and musing over why he has bedded and left five or six of Asia’s loveliest women in such a short time. He has good friends Tin Tin Lin (Sharon Kwok) and Joey (Veronica Yip) vying for his attention. Tin and Joey consult a fortune teller, and find that, in their past lives, they were a nun and a whore, respectively. David pursues Tin, and promotes her to Charlie’s position, and sacks Charlie for embezzlement. David gets nowhere with Tin, but has several sessions with Joey, including one quite pleasant dream sequence where Veronica Yip fondles a sword and is pawed by a knight in armour (not David). But Joey is just too lustful for him, so he leaves her. Clearly, he’s already in leave of his senses ! A girl named Candy pops up out of nowhere and departs as quickly. An unnamed really luscious babe picks him up in a disco, takes him back to her room, and he waits till she gets all her clothes off and starts dirty dancing before going into action. The lad, by now, on a downward slide……

Johnson Lee, Chairman of the Lee’s Group, is unreconciled to the fact that his ancestral business will be taken over by Sherin Chan, daughter of the Group’s Board Director. He wants to get back his controlling shareholding rights. So he approaches Jenny, in the hope of finding a gigolo to conquer the heart of Sherin, and promises to pay a handsome reward if the gigolo succeeds. Bill experiences failure in his first hunt for the woman.
Sherin is, in fact, both a lesbian and a man-hater. Sherin, having lost her lover, goes to drink in the homosexual bar to drown her sorrows. She is nearly raped by some guys. Jack comes to her rescue, and Sherin is deeply impressed. Johnson posts Jacky as the Client Servicing Manager of the Group to facilitate his contact with Sherin. In the beginning, Jack treats Sherin as one of his clients but he soon falls in love with her. Sherin’s father is particularly delighted, having unexpectedly found his daughter having sex with a man.

He nourishes thoughts that she will be no longer fond of the female sex and hopefully, a descendent will be borne for the Chans. Sherin eventually returns the controlling shareholding rights to Johnson. Jacky is then rewarded handsomely but he keeps thinking of Sherin. Johnson, out of jealousy, tells the whole story to Sherin. Sherin, enraged, goes to censure Jacky. The latter spends the huge reward entirely in buying her a set of precious jewelry to recompense for his fault. Sherin goes to the bar to return the gift and Jenny directs Sherin to find Jacky…
Not a ton of nudity. But any movie with Veronica Yip taking her clothes off, however briefly, is worth it.

1941 Hong Kong on Fire tells the story of a family affected by the Japanese invasion of Hong Kong during World War II. The movie begins with an interesting approach, using interviews and newsreel footage to set up the story, but this more serious, documentary-like approach is let down by some very dopey comedy. In fact, the first half-hour or so is much more of a family “dramedy” rather than the usual blood and boobs one expects from Wong Jing. But all of that changes in one scene. A guy comes in and announces “the Japanese devils are coming”, and sure enough, within thirty seconds, they kick in the doors and proceed to rape and kill everyone.
